Aadil Palkhivala
Aadil began his studies with B.K.S. Iyengar at the age of 7 and received an Advanced Iyengar Teacher’s Certificate at 22. Aadil is regarded as a “teacher of teachers,” and many of the world’s top yoga instructors have studied with him. He has a unique teaching style, mixing melodious instruction with recitations of poetry, philosophical insights, and in-the-moment humor.

12:00 – 2:00 Purna Yoga Flow: Sweat and Glow
The beauty of the Purna Yoga Power Series is the smooth, flowing movements coordinated with the breath. It incorporates a set of poses designed to cultivate external strength and internal power. All levels.
2:30 – 5:30 Understanding Inversions
Inversions soothe the nervous system, give us an opportunity to reverse the aging process, and allow us to get a reversed perspective, both physically and psychologically. They must be done with a focused alignment and an understanding of the correct muscles so that there is no long-term injury. Come learn how to do your inversion poses safely and effectively. All levels, but we suggest at least 3 months asana experience.
7:00 – 8:30 Yoga of Relationships in Purna Yoga (only $45!)
Our life becomes harmonious when there is a feeling of connection and peace in our relationships. Aadil will discuss how Yoga teaches us to bring harmony and fulfillment into our lives.

10:30 – 1:30 Detox and Recharge with Twists and Backbends
Twists increase the gastric fire and detoxify the digestive system, thereby improving digestion, plus they release the tiny inter-vertebral muscles along the spine, freeing the spine for backbends. When done correctly, backbends bring joy, strength, focus, and power. All levels.
3:00 – 6:00 Yoga Nidra***
The mind, body, and emotions are most effectively brought to rest when Shavasana is done progressively and systematically. Purna Yoga Nidra is unique among all the Yoga Nidras, in that you focus on and create powerful internal connections to Spirit to help manifest your dreams. Please bring a soft pillow. All levels. ***If you have a cough or a cold please do not attend this workshop, because any movement will disturb others.

9:00 – 12:00 Depressurizing High Blood Pressure
In Purna Yoga there are two types of high blood pressure: one pent up, and the other externally obvious. These have to be treated differently. You will learn asana techniques, Ayurvedic and Chinese nutritional miracles, and the basics of Purna Yoga Meditation to help deal with and reverse your hypertension. For students and teachers.
